What hours are the Front Lobby doors open?
The main entrance of the hospital is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the weekends. The information desk is staffed during those hours. When the main entrance doors are locked, please enter through the Emergency Services Department.
What is the hospital’s smoking policy?
MMCH is a tobacco-free facility. For the safety and health of our patients, visitors and team members, smoking and the use of tobacco products is not permitted anywhere in the hospital or on hospital grounds.
What if I need an interpreter?
If you are in need of a language interpreter or sign language assistance, please notify a registration clerk or your admitting nurse. (Si usted está en necesidad de un intérprete del language o firma ayunda del lenguaje, notifique por favor un vendedor del registro, su enfermera que admite, o preferiblemente la llamanda por adelantado de la colocación así que pondemos acomodarle.)
Can I use my cell phone in the hospital?
Cell phones are permitted for use in all areas of the hospital except Emergency Services, Special Care and patient hallways.
Where is the hospital’s chapel located?
Located on the first floor of the 1932 building, our interfaith chapel is open 24/7 for meditation and prayer. For patients who would like a visit from a pastor or priest, please let our staff know and we can contact one for you. Eucharistic ministers are also available for patients who would like to receive communion at their bedside.
What are the hours of the MMCH Café?
Visitors are encouraged to dine in our Café or simply use it for breaks. The dining room area is open all day, however meal times are as follows:
Hot Breakfast: 7-9 a.m.
Continental Breakfast: 9-11 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 am-1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 4:45-6:30 p.m.
Will I have Internet access inside the hospital?
Whether you want to research information on the Internet or email your baby’s picture to family and friends, our hospital offers Internet access with wireless capability.
