About this event: Don’t use the cold weather as your excuse to quit exercising. Margaret Mary Community Hospital is again partnering with area schools to provide local residents a warm place to walk this winter. Starting October. 1, members of the community can walk in school hallways Monday-Thursday, free of charge. Batesville High School, Jac-Cen-Del Elementary and Milan Elementary are available from 4-7 p.m.; Sunman Elementary is available from 6-8 p.m.; and South Ripley High School is available from 3:30-6 p.m.
The school hallways will not be available when schools are closed or holding major evening events.
** Batesville High School: Please enter from the back parking lot near the greenhouse. The doors will be locked from entering the building at 6:00pm. You can walking until 7:00 pm.

About this event: Slim Down Now is an innovative 10 week group weight loss program that meets on Mondays at noon. The program was developed by a team of MMCH dietitian's and has helped many men and women in our community lose weight and keep it off. The program features:
• Hundreds of meal plans and snack options
• Easy-to-prepare recipes
• Fat-burning exercise tips
• Monthly passes to three area fitness centers
Cost includes: program booklet, Calorie King Book, free passes to area fitness centers.
Cost: Fees apply for this event ($150) and can be paid online.
