Located on Six Pine Ranch Road in Batesville, The Hansen Center was named after J. Michael Hansen, MD, an outstanding physician who served the community for more than two decades. Dr. Hansen lost his battle with cancer in 2002.

Completed in February 2005, The Hansen Center is a $15.5 million facility that includes Cancer Services on the first floor, as well as an Outpatient Specialty Clinic and Endoscopy/Colonoscopy suite on the second floor.

An award-winning facility, the design of The Hansen Center has received national recognition from Modern Healthcare and Healthcare Design magazines. Separate entrances – one for the cancer center on the first floor and one for the outpatient specialty clinic on the second floor – help patients easily navigate the facility. A stone fireplace warms the large family area, while wooden beams, panels of art glass, water features and hardwood floors give the facility a welcoming feel.
