Sports Medicine

Whether you get hurt during an end-zone catch or playing 18 holes of golf, you can trust that our sports medicine team can help you get back in the game. Our team specializes in preventing, diagnosing and treating injuries caused during sports or exercise. Common injuries we treat range from dislocations and muscle cramps to sprains and shin splints.

Located at the Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, our sports medicine team is led by Dr. Ed Negovetich, a local physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The team consists of the following members:

Sports Physicals
Our sports medicine team works closely with local physicians to offer comprehensive sports medicine services to the community. In the spring, we partner with physicians to offer sports physicals to local students. Our sports physical clinics are offered for students who attend Batesville, St. Louis, Oldenburg Academy, Jac-Cen-Del and South Ripley schools. Dates and times will be listed on our website in the spring.

Sports Performance Clinic
In the summer, our sports medicine team offers a six-week training program to students in grades 6-12. This clinic is designed to cover speed, agility, strength and nutrition. Dates and times will be announced in late spring/early summer.
